If I could give jim and his team at JM more then 5 stars I would. I got myself in a bit of a pickle having my truck... dead in my driveway. They got it going and over to the shop and I'm all good to go now. The price quoted for all jobs is extremely reasonable and their honesty and integrity is something I won't ever question. The woman working behind the desk (one of the owners I believe) was very friendly and down to earth!! Amazing experience from start to finish! Take your car in for an oil change and they'll tighten up and realign your door without mentioning it! We'd had an... accident 6 years ago and a different garage had managed the repairs from that. I don't know if it had been saggy from then or not but J.M. automotive noticed and tidied it up today! Love them ❤️read more

I drive in from kanata..Jim is the only Mechanic I do not stress over when he is looking at my cars..He takes the time... to explain whats wrong with your car .. I strongly recommend going to see him for all of your car issues..The prices are very very fair..read more

Well, Jim McKenny used to work for Car Canada and, previously, Kemptville Dodge...with his father-in-law, Colin. It's a... lot of years and both have a presence at JM Automotive today. Then, and now, the only people who touch my 1992 D250 with a Cummins 5.9 and almost 600,00 km are Jimmy and his staff. Oftentimes, in the past, and, now, I occasionally do my own service...if I have the tools and the energy. Comforted, I always know (and appreciate) that Jimmy is a phone call away for advice, as I am sure he is with any customer. This is the mark of a good businessman and, more importantly, a decent, trustworthy person. He services all makes and I trust him, implicitly, with my partner's 2010 BMW X3. It is important to note that he teaches car mechanics at Algonquin College, as well. "You never know how much, or, how little you know, until you have to teach someone." My go-to auto-mechanic. Jim and Fiona and down to earth people who actually WANT to help you and fix your car. Unlike... most mechanics who wants to be dodgy and always "find something else wrong" Jim has taught me so much about my own vehicle in the hopes that I can help maintain the car myself. They have saved my butt multiple times! They are also great customers of mine both through my print shop and some of the biggest collectors of my personal artwork so I am very thankful in all aspects!read more
